What We Do
Affordable Housing Development
The United States is facing an affordable and attainable housing crisis. Rising rents and stagnant wages have made most rental housing unaffordable to low-moderate income households. More than 11 million renter households, roughly 1 in 4 renters, spend over half of their income on rent, leaving too little for other necessary expenses like transportation, education, healthy food and medical bills.
Affordable housing is impacting all levels of income households, whether directly or indirectly. The issue is urban, suburban and rural. It touches millennials, families, veterans, seniors and the workforce. At Prairie Fire, we are committed to working with a diverse group of partners in order to best address the unique needs of each community and contribute to their economic growth and development.
Prairie Fire Asset Management Group represents the interests of owners for their multifamily assets, including conventional and complicated affordable housing assets. The Prairie Fire team has the background, knowledge and resources to maximize asset performance. We add value by focusing primarily on our own portfolio, creating strategies that include maximizing asset performance and developing flexible disposition strategies evaluated on an ongoing basis.
